Dead End, Literally.

The trolls are going to have fun with the puns from this one.

Ok so, as probably the only active (if you can even call it that) officer lurking about I thought it fair to let you guys know the situation.

As most of you will know we took a break over the last month because we couldn't make things work. We did so in the hope that when 3.3 rolled around maybe something could be salvaged and we could carry on.

The reality is however is that several key people will not be coming back when 3.3 hits, this includes both members and officers. Many of you have gone on to, what I would hope to be, a better place where you can get raids and hopefully you're happy, so I thought it best to leave that way.

We had a fairly good run at things, even if at times things got incredibly stale or stagnant. We had a difficult task as a guild, being a "semi-casual" guild, and this started before raids became 'easy' with WotLK. When it worked the feeling was great, best remembered to me as the raiding atmosphere we shared. When it didn't, it was obvious, I'm sure I didn't need to detail to you when those times were. Nonetheless it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience on the whole, and I wouldn't have done it differently.

I'd personally like to thank everyone who has stuck by our membership over the years, both those from Postmortem and those from Ground Zero. Heck even if you weren't from either of those two guilds, you made this guild what it was. I'd also like to thank the other officers for whom without the guild would not have been running in the first place.

Officially: Dead End is now a discontinued guild. I'm not sure what will happen with the guild as an entity, but it may remain open, filled by alts possibly. As for the contents of the GB... that still needs to be addressed.
